Foreign Delegates Visited Udyog Bandhu

A team, headed by Mr. Elenoa Vavana Rakai comprising Mr. Ahmed Yasim, Mohd. Lutfur Rahman, Mr. K.P.C.A. Dharmasiri, Mr. R.M.A.S. Rathnayake, Gamini Disanayaka, Mr. Nabaraj Raut, Mr.Bimala Dhital, Nor Hidayaty Mohd. Nor and Mohd. Subkhan Subkhi as member, of 10 foreign delegates from 7 countries viz. FIJI Islands, Republic of Maldives, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Malaysia and Indonesia visited Udyog Bandhu on December 16, 2011 during their 5 days visit to Uttar Pradesh from 15-19th December, 2011. The objectives of the visit were to understand the about the role of MSME support organizations/Institutions activities and their processes and also to know the status of MSME in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Jt. Executive Director, Udyog Bandhu addressed the delegation and exchanged the views along with the team of other officers of the organization.

 
 

The Program was organized by National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), New Delhi and its Lucknow visit was coordinated by the Institute of Entrepreneurship development, Uttar Pradesh ((IED UP). Besides Udyog Bandhu, the team also visited CFTRI, CIMAP, CIPET and four units of Micro & Small Scale Enterprises located at Sarojani Nagar Industrial Area, Lucknow.

Accepting manual applications in NIVESH MITRA districts now punishable

On examination and monitoring of Nivesh Mitra system, it is observed that some departments are still receiving applications manually from entrepreneurs. Taking a serious view on such non compliance of the directives, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh has now directed vide G.O. No. 1793/77-6-10-9(M)/08 dated 12.12.2011 that the concerned erring officials shall be dealt with strict disciplinary actions if they fail to comply the directives. All the departmental officials are hereby asked to comply the above orders. All entrepreneurs setting up in 45 districts under the ambit of Nivesh Mitra are requested to apply online only through the portal.

Avail MDA Assistance by participating in trade fairs at St. Petersburg, Russia and Panama

The EPCES(Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZ Units is participating in the following trade fairs/exhibitions abroad during February/March 2012 :-

I. JUNWEX, Jewellery Show, 1st to 6th February, 2012 at St.Petersburg, Russia (MDA grant upto Rs.1,50,000 which includesRs.80,000 towards stall charges and Rs.70,000 towards economy class airfare)

II. Multi-productstrade fair “Expocomer” to be held from 21st to 24th March, 2012 at Panama (MDA upto Rs.1,80,000-which includesRs.1,00,000 towards stall charges and Rs.80,000 towards economy class airfare).

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry has identified Russia and Panama as focus areas. As per MDA guidelines, EOUs and SEZ Units having export turnover less than Rs.15 crores during the precdeding year will be eligible for MDA Assistance for participation in exhibitions abroad.

Recognition and Felicitation to discover talent in e- Governance in the State

Information Technology has brought revolutionary changes in all spheres worldwide. The Government of Uttar Pradesh considers it as an immensely important growth accelerator. Thus aiming quick delivery of state services in transparent manner, alienation of middle men, and faster mode of payment of various services being provided by the State Government Departments, e-Governance has emerged as a vital tool in the hands of both government and Public. Recognizing the need and importance of e-Governance, Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to promote by honoring the best service providers either in form of providing data base on their web sites or introducing innovative idea through e-Governance. In the modern era, internet has registered its existence even at village level and has made e-Governance more feasible.

GoUP has launched e-Governance scheme in the state. GIS mapping, revenue collection are the shining examples of e-Governance. To further boost e-Governance, and also to explore its potentials, Uttar Pradesh Government for the first time has taken a step in recognizing and felicitation of unearthed

 

talents in e- Governance in the state by holding a prize distribution ceremony on 7th December, 2011. The prizes were designed to give impetus to I.T Technology, e-Governance and web site. In this direction, three best services in the field of Excellence in Government Process Re-engineering, Innovative Technology usage and Best Government Web Site were categorized for the purpose of prize distribution

 

Get Digitally Signed Khatauni easily in Uttar Pradesh

Citizens spend their enormous time and energy to access Government information and services; whether they require services related to land, housing or health. As a forerunner in implementation of e-Governance and IT Enabled Services for its citizens, Government of Uttar Pradesh has initiated diverse measures by introducing information technology concepts in service delivery to citizens.

The need for land related records is an inevitable requirement of each and every citizen. The Department of Revenue is burdened with millions of such records scattered in all parts of the districts from Tehsil to State level in manual forms in numerous files. It became imperative to digitize such records for enabling easy access to all concerned. Keeping this in mind, the department of Information Technology of the State Government had initiated digitizing revenue records. An e-governance application specially for farmers in which a software (‘Bhulekh’) for computerization of land records of all the tehsils of Uttar Pradesh has been rolled-out across the State.
