Now from Lucknow (Amausi) airport direct flights are operating to Sharjah in UAE. Likewise from Varanasi Airport direct flights are operating to Kathmandu (Nepal), Bangkok and Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Greater Noida are close to National capital New Delhi (Indira Gandhi International airport).
